Mauride – Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

Mauride is a ride-booking platform that connects clients with independent drivers.
All users must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
Mauride reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these policies.
These policies may be updated at any time, and continued use of Mauride constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Client (Passenger) Policy

By booking a ride through Mauride, the Client agrees to:

2.1 Booking & Payment

Provide correct pickup and drop-off details.
Pay the full fare as displayed or agreed upon in the app.
Understand that cancellation fees may apply if a ride is canceled late or after driver arrival.

2.2 Conduct & Safety

Treat drivers with respect and courtesy at all times.
Not engage in abusive, violent, discriminatory, or illegal behavior.
Wear seatbelts where available and follow safety instructions from the driver.

2.3 Prohibited Actions

No smoking, alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances unless permitted by law.
No damage to the vehicle; clients are liable for any damage caused.
No false reports, misuse of the app, or attempts to defraud drivers or Mauride.

3. Cancellations, Disputes & Complaints

Mauride reserves the right to investigate any complaints or disputes.
Decisions made by Mauride regarding disputes, refunds, or penalties are final.
Repeated cancellations or complaints may lead to account suspension or termination.

4. Liability

Drivers operate as independent contractors and are responsible for their actions.
Mauride is not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles.
Mauride is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or force majeure events.

5. Data Protection

Personal information is collected and used in accordance with Mauride's Privacy Policy.
Users agree not to misuse or share any personal data obtained through the platform.

6. Acceptance

By creating an account, booking a ride, or accepting trips on Mauride, you confirm that: You have read, understood, and agreed to comply with Mauride's Rules, Regulations, and Policies. Failure to comply may result in temporary suspension, permanent ban, legal action, or financial penalties where applicable.
